Right Here (Departed) has yet to make a real impact on the charts, but it’s officially made an impact on me. I love the damn song now, couldn’t get it out of my head if I tried. The video is stupid, but we can overlook that. The song by itself is mediocre at best, but Brandy’s vocals are O.O.C. Good to know that she’s still got it, and I’m glad to get a new album from her. I’m just sad she picked now. There’s way too much competition at the moment, and I’m afraid under the deluge of heavy-hitters, Brandy will drown. And because this is her first album with new label Epic Records, you can bet that the numbers will matter.

I LOVED this song from the start. The beat is fire and Brandy's vocals = never fail. I don't know how she does it and arranges her shit the way she does. It's a shame the song is pretty much a flop and that she'll get murdered in sales by Britney, Beyonce and Ciara. Hopefully we might get a shock and Brandy may beat some of these bitches out, but I doubt it. Mathew Knowles would not allow anybody to go #1 over Beyonce. He'll f**k up other bitches careers if has needs to.
