Well, it's about time

According to Perez, Adamo Ruggiero, better known as Marco Del Rossi on Degrassi: The Next Generation, has (finally!) come out of the closet.

"'I didn’t plan it that way… Maybe it’s life imitating art,' Ruggiero tells eTalk. 'Degrassi let me do something real and I kind of feel like I’m living proof of what the show was working to accomplish.'"

In my opinion, it was pretty obvious he was gay from the beginning, but I'm sure he had his reasons, personal or professional, for keeping mum on the subject. But anywho, congratulations, A! Now you can officially be welcomed into the gayborhood! (I hear rent's cheap...)
