C to da Kay

Crystal Kay recently performed at the Space Shower Music Video Awards (whatever the hell those are). Even though she's one of my favorites, I have no qualms saying she still needs to work on singing and dancing at the same time. She doesn't sound bad, though, and I'll never knock a girl for trying, especially when lip-synching frauds saturate the industry *cough, Beyoncé, cough*. She looks really pretty, despite the poofy yellow thing she's wearing. And, when she slows it down to sing 恋におちたら, she sounds great. LOL at the 4:44 mark when she breaks it down. Work it, girl.

*Update: Credit to my blogger buddy, Random J, for the video ^_^

  1. This is my first time visiting your blog, and it's HOT! lol

Ahhh Crystal is so fine, and you're right she does sound a bit shaky both singing and dancing, but her songs are so hot, it doesn't even matter.

  2. N***a you stole my video!! Where my credit at!? *lol*

    Just playing... :D

Crystal Kay's live performances are always shaky and home girl CANNOT dance. That "Anata soba de" video was a mess and this performance was even worse. I still love her though.

  3. Hey! You did upload it!! I didn't notice; I always delete that nasty font so quickly.

And she's not always shaky! When she's on tour, she's actually pretty on point. And I know she has natural rhythm, I've seen her use it. She just never really has very good choreography. Which is lame. She needs to ask her girl BoA to hook her up.

  4. The only performances where her vocals are ON POINT 100% are when her arse is sat down on a stool. Any hint of movement and her vocals be shaking like Michael J. Fox. And don't even get me started on how she sounded when she tried to hop on KAT-TUN's "Signal". Dear Jesus... I hate when she tries to dance too.

But even with all that said, I still love her to death and her vocals be killing half the bitches in the R&B game over in the States.

"Anata soba de" is one of my many jams off of All yous. When I first got the album I murdered that song. I'd have it on repeat for hours straight. *lol* Even now I still bump it. It's definitely my feel good song.

    :)

Also, Brandon e-mail me ya e-mail address.
