The official cover for Mariah's upcoming album. I think it's way better than the rumored cover, back when her album was still entitled That Chick *shudders*. But, I still don't actually like it, 'cause Mariah still hasn't actually gotten over her aversion to clothing. What do you guys think?
Hmmmm...the pink/purple colors are ugly, but I think she actually looks kinda hot. I don't know what the hell that is she's using to cover herself up with though, lol.

I like the cover, but I think she should've left all font off of it. The MARIAH takes away from the image, which is actually really nice. Even though she's clutching at some to cover herself, not much is shown. It's actually quite classy.
ReplyDeleteOn second thought, it's understandable that she'd want to show off her body, which is admittedly looking great these days. Especially as she's getting on in age. But, I think she's been showing skin for so long that it's hard for me to appreciate when she actually looks good. Which she does. I just think she could be more subtle sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThe thing with Mariah is image wise she ain't gon' change. I wish she would come with some more class and give up the desire to clutch at shit to cover her body, and wear mini skirts and look like a ho in public - but that's how she rolls. She also keeps it tight with Adobe. Because even though Mariah's lost weight over the past few months, her legs and her arms are NOT that skinny. She tried to hide the legs a little behind the rug and the MARIAH, but I still see how she had them photoshopped to look like Victoria Beckham's.
ReplyDeleteI'm still shocked at how she ditched her classic Mariah Carey font. I damn near had a heart attack when I saw thet album cover and no sign of it. I'm also glad she's coming with cool album titles too. I would've had a wild convulsion if she called her album Unicorn, Cloud, Magic or some bullshit like that. I'm glad she came with something substancial.
mmhmm, you right. Mariah's retoucher is the best in the biz.
ReplyDeleteThe re-touching is a joke though. The promo image of her cluthcing that white rug in close up was ridiculous. That shit looked like a CGI render it was so photoshopped. She looked dead.
