So, it's going around the web that this is the cover for Mariah Carey's upcoming follow-up to her multi-platinum comeback album, The Emancipation of Mimi. And I gotta say...kinda trashy. I think she needs to stop, take a breath, and put some clothes on. Covers like this only fuel the notion that she has to compete with the Beyoncés and the Rihannas out there. It provides a point of comparison. If Mariah would just take the classy route, she would distance herself from those types of rumors and those types of artists altogether. Because honestly, with her track record, she really doesn't deserve to be compared to them. But, no. Mariah prefers to be "that chick." Le sigh.

She isn't even competeing with Rihanna and Beyonce, because they sure as hell came more classy than that on all of their album covers. Mariah is just being a tacky ho - full stop. *lol*
I think that image is surprisingly classy for Mariah though, which isn't saying much. In all honesty, I actually like it. But it's not much of an upgrade for her though. She needs to start to show a little more class with her photoshoots and her look. Also, that album title needs to change. It adds to the overall hoeyness of the 'wearing nuthin' but a cowboy hat' image.
