Gossip Boys Cover Out

There they are, our favorite Gossip Boys. Whether we love 'im, love to hate 'im, or love to drool all over ourselves for 'im, they all have a special place in our hearts. It looks like even with the strike officially over, it'll be a bit before we get new Gossip Girl. The boys are apparently using their down-time wisely, as they cover next month's issue of Out (click here to read their feature story) magazine.

Out discusses Dan Humphrey's character with Penn Badgley and whether he feels comfortable "going gay" as Dan does in the novels after breaking up with Serena. (!!!) Penn said he would be cool but doesn't find it likely that a major network would suddenly make one of their main characters queer. I'd have to agree. But, one must admit, the idea is quite intriguing.

Upon further investigation, it seems that Dan not only switches sexualities in the novels, but he actually has a fling with bad boy Chuck. How crazy is that?? The fan fiction just writes itself.
