So with Mariah's new album dropping tomorrow (or, damn...today), she's been everywhere promoting, including a visit to Queen Oprah. She lipped the end of her performance, surprise surprise, but she looked decent this time so I won't complain. I've been listening to the bonus track Heat on repeat for days now. The lyrics are absolutely ridiculous, calling to mind the famous Mariah vs. Mariah showdown in the Heartbreaker video. I'm sad it's not on the album. "Heat" had me dyin' when I first heard it. It's just the thought of Mariah actually beating a bitch down for steppin' to her man. It features on the UK release of her album, so I'm glad about that! :D
I hate how they didn't sandwich it in with the rest of the album though. Having it after "I wish you well" kinda kills the impact of the song. It was the same with "Sprung" on Emancipation of Mimi. It killed the impact of "Fly like a bird"
