I actually didn't think it was that terrible. Her performance of "I'm That Chick" was better though.

The beginning was kind of weird though with the pre-recording.

And she looked so out of it with those big ass glasses! lol

The best part was the unveiling of that HUGE billboard that had the promo image for her album on it.

Mariah's getting better at singing "Touch my body" live - but she needs to arrange it in a way that allows her to do it live properly. The CD version is so layered that you could never do the whole thing live in one go - but she still continues to try and do it that way. You'd think Mariah would be able to sort this shit out by now though. It's not like she's Cassie and she's not a veteran.

When it comes to Good Morning America performances, ain't NOBODY touching when Beyonce did "Green light". She shut it down!! She was jumping up and down in a dress and high heels. Ain't no other bitch in the game brave enough to do that.

i put this video up to highlight mariah's usage of pre-recorded vocals during "live" performances. she glitches at the beginning can be excused because we can give her the benefit of the doubt and say that was just to layer her vocals (even though that's what backup singers are for). but when her "Touch my BODY"-run comes in early, there's really no explaining it away. especially that "stop singing my part, baby" bullshit. like, who are you kidding? that is clearly NOT a backup singer coming in early to steal your thunder. that's your track f***in' up. and she did end up singing the rest of the song live, but imo, she sounded like shit.

ppl think i have a vendetta against mariah, but honestly, it's just frustrating because i'm a fan. i wish she'd come correct.

Mariah should've done a Janet and whipped a titty out. I don't know what's with these veteran bitches and their dry ass vocals and performances these days. First Janet and now Mariah and Madonna.

Mariah's never been the best live performer. The last live gig she did that wowed me was when she did MTV unplugged. Everything since then has been iffy and just 'okay'. She needs to fix...UP! It's not even like "Touch my body" is hard to sing register wise. I could sing that shit on a cross trainer whilst there's an earthquake and sound more stable than Mariah did.

She needs to start rehearsing her shit and we both know some poor n***a got fired over that performance.
