Rain is like my guilty pleasure, except I don't feel that guilty. I've been listening to Rainism all week (look out for a review by Sunday) and I like it more and more each day. Rain and his PR people have done such an awesome job with his image. He's insanely popular but there's still a sort of cute innocence about him. People like to call him the Asian Justin or Usher, but both of those guys are known to be a**holes some of the time. And neither of them have fans like Rain. Every single time Rain does a performance, all the girls in the audience are singing the lyrics louder than him and screaming their lungs out whenever he touches himself. Justin is lucky to get that kind of reaction at his own concert.
Rain made the rounds around Christmas time, performing his third single from Rainism, Fresh Woman. The geeky performance is completely adorable. The choreography, the clothes, his demeanor, just too cute. Check out Rain poking himself in the eye with his glasses:
